چکیده

In this short paper, we document the current state of work consisting in mapping various lexicographic resources onto the OntoLex model, which is an OWL and RDF(s) based representation format. This model has been designed in the context of a W3C Community Group effort for supporting the publication of linguistic data in the Linked (Open) Data cloud. The deployment of OntoLex is currently being tested within the ISCH COST Action IS1305 European Network of e-Lexicography (ENeL), which is adapting to the field of digital lexicography guidelines that have been suggested by the LIDER FP7 Support Action.

Datavore: A Vocabulary Recommender Tool Assisting Linked Data Modeling

In this paper, we introduce the vocabulary recommendation system Datavore (Data vocabulary recommender). The tool is oriented towards metadata designers providing ranked lists of vocabulary terms to reuse in the web of data modeling process, together with additional metadata and cross-terms relations. Datavore relies on the Linked Open Vocabulary ecosystem for acquiring vocabularies and metadat...

LIDIOMS: A Multilingual Linked Idioms Data Set

In this paper, we describe the LIDIOMS data set, a multilingual RDF representation of idioms currently containing five languages: English, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Russian. The data set is intended to support natural language processing applications by providing links between idioms across languages. The underlying data was crawled and integrated from various sources. To ensure the qual...

A Multilingual Lexico-Semantic Database and Ontology

We discuss the development of a multilingual lexicon linked to a formal ontology. First we describe the Open Multilingual Wordnet, a multilingual wordnet with twenty two languages and a rich structure of semantic relations. It is made by exploiting links from various monolingual wordnets to the English Wordnet. Currently, it contains 118,337 concepts expressed in 1,643,260 senses in 22 language...

Multilingual Expert Search using Linked Open Data as Interlingual Representation

Most Information Retrieval models take documents as Bagof-Words and are thereby bound to the language of the documents. In this paper, we present an approach using Linked Open Data resources, i.e. URIs, as interlingual document representations. Documents and queries are summarized by the resources they contain. We show the applicability of our approach for multilingual retrieval with a case stu...

Multilingual Linked Open Data Patterns

The increasing publication of linked data makes the vision of the semantic web a probable reality. Although it may seem that the web of data is inherently multilingual, data usually contains labels, comments, descriptions, etc. that depend on the natural language used. When linked data appears in a multilingual setting, it is a challenge to publish and consume it. This paper presents a survey o...
